Notnow Collective l Kristina Gavran | Kinicho | 2021 – 2022

BOSA (‘barefoot’ in Croatian) is a walk-through aural experience about the rituals of settling in.

Originally created for the empty swimming pool space of Moseley Road Baths as a part of  Birmingham 2022 Festival.

BOSA was a collaboration with audio studio Kinicho, and a continuation of a successful exploration and development time enabled through my DYCP (Develop Your Creative Practice by Arts Council England) project throughout which I focused on audio in performance.

BOSA was developed in collaboration with a group of women who are learning the English language at Moseley Road Baths.

This piece has been developed with touring in mind – it is highly adaptable to spaces, travels lightly, and invites community participation and collaboration.
